Wriggle receive funding from Tesco Charity Trust

Wriggle are pleased to announce that they have received an award from Tesco Charity Trust to deliver an educational and outreach programme in schools and childrens centre in the Canley area of Coventry.

The workshops will be linked to their show, Once in a Blue Moon and aim to give young children and their families a more in depth experience of the show as well as wet their appetite for Once in a Blue Moon when it comes to Warwick Arts Centre on 29th & 30th November as part of their family weekend.

Wriggle receive funding from Arts Council England

Wriggle Dance Theatre has been successful in their application to Arts Council England for funding to tour their show 'Once in a Blue Moon' for 3-6 year olds and their grown ups nationally from September 14 to January 15. For a full list of tour dates click here

Part of their funding is also for Business consolidation, so Wriggle will continue to work hard over the coming months developing and implementing their business plan.

Funding awarded from Warwick District Council

Wriggle were awarded funding from Warwick District Council to run a project with families in Childrens Centres in Leamington Spa and Warwick in February and March 2014.
The project gave the opportunity for parents and their pre-school children to take part in a series of creative dance and movement sessions, facilitated by Wriggle Dance Theatre.

Review of 'Once in a Blue Moon'

Children’s theatre can be a bit hit and miss, but I am happy to say that Once In a Blue Moon is a true delight. Written and styled for children aged 3 - 6 years, the show has been tailored to this age group with perfection. It engages and entertains with spectacle, live music, interaction and humour.
